Job Description

The intern will have hands-on experience in web development. This includes both administrative and web development functions. Requirements may include, but may not be limited to the following:

  • HTML and CSS
  • Javascript 
  • Ajax and JSON
  • PHP
Qualification
Sophomore/Junior/Senior undergrad majoring in a related field and desiring to gain experience
Students must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, days and times are flexible within our normal work day
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in Agile environment
Strong knowledge of web development, web design and scripting languages such as: Javascript (with libraries like Mootools and jQuery), HTML , CSS
Self-starter with an eye for detail
Eagerness and ability to learn quickly and expand technical repertoire
0-2 years work experience
Responsibilities
Write custom HTML, PHP, CSS and JavaScript for existing websites and applications.
Design, recommend and pitch improvements to new and existing features.
Assist in troubleshooting issues on web-based systems.
Update and edit website content, posts and pages
Provide technical support related to web-based systems to internal teams.
Create prototypes and experiment with new technologies and features as assigned.
Troubleshoot open source software such as Drupal
